Responsibilities/Skills :

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high volumes of data and traffic.
• Write efficient and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, including performance bottlenecks and system failures.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy applications and manage production environments.
• Work with project managers and product owners to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Utilize tools such as GIT and JIRA for version control, code collaboration, and issue tracking.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation in PostgreSQL databases.
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, including core concepts, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including writing efficient SQL queries.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools like JIRA.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
